建于明代，清嘉庆三年（1798年）重建。
平面呈方形，黄瓦四角攒尖顶。
清代封皇后，授皇后册、宝的仪式和皇后诞辰礼部在此举行。
乾隆十三年（1748年），代表封建皇权的二十五颗宝垄收藏于此。
